The southbound Northlander pulls into the station at Huntsville alongside the cars of recently arrived CN 595. A snowy and cold winter's day on the railroad just after Christmas, its nice and warm inside the station. Unknown at the time, this would not be repeatable in less than three years. 1214hrs.

  1. That’d be a northbound Mike, but thanks for reviving the memories regardless!

  2. Damn dude…so artsy. Hard to keep up with you these days. ;-)

  3. This sure brings out some fond memories. Great work, Mike.

  4. Thanks Wayne, correction made.

Thanks Cam… every foamer needs at least one shot of a train taken through a station window. Preferably an older, more traditional station and not a glass and steel box.

Thanks Davis. The loss of the Northlander is but a taste of what earlier generations endured on a continual basis, with both passenger train cancellations and branchline abandonments. It is, in many ways, why we shoot… the here today, gone tomorrow nature of human endeavor.
