After the early evening Thunder Bay station stop Via #2 schedule requires 25 hours to travel the nine hundred ninety four miles – primarily on CP Rail - to Montreal's Central Station, average speed 39.7 mph.
Via Rail 6313 was re-manufactured March 1985 from GMD FP9A CN6526. April 2002 Via 6313 and 6307 (ex CN6515) were sold to Ohio Central.

Though purists may balk at the mixture of stainless Budd’s and CC&F smoothsides, it is still a magnificent looking train. Great shot as always.
