Departing the Clayburn diamond in Abbotsford, BC, CPs Sumas Turn passes over the diamond shared with Southern Railway of BC. To the left is the hut that was used to activate the semaphore signals that have been decommissioned. Since this image was taken the hut has been removed and has been donated to the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway that operates the Interuban between Cloverdale, BC and Sullivan.

  1. Very nice – that Expressway unit… belongs in Ontario ;) Send it back!!

  2. Thanks. The 5742 and 5745 have been out here for quite a few years. I havent seen the 5745 for a while, so I dont know if it is still around.

  3. Great scene! 5745 unfortunately was sent to EMD/Progress Rail to be converted into an SD30C-ECO unit. 5742 is the last of the two Expressway-liveried units left.
