Today's train was CP 6262, 6251, 6248. 6251 was just released from CAD where the rebuilding program continues, and 6248 was also released directly to storage in August making this one of the first revenue runs for the pair.

Train 142 is waiting in the background, as 132 has to double onto both cuts of Expressway cars in the yard and set the SBU before departing east.

  1. Neat catch, sure beats two toasters.

  2. Great shot, Steve. That 142 in the distance really adds to the scene, and would almost make you think the Galt was busy :-P

  3. I am informed that this trio went back into storage not long after arrival in Montreal. The final chapter in the saga of the SD60 has not been written, but I’m sure glad I wasted no time to grab this !

  4. Holy snappin’ A’s that’s sweet.
    TOFC’s as well, Wow.
