A pair of Wisconsin Central SD45's lead the local back north to Hawk Junction after having switched the Paper Mill about 5 miles south of Hawk. The mill is now shut down, and from what I've heard there isn't too much business in or around the Hawk Junction area for the railroad (thanks to CN's business plan!!).

  1. Great shot.

The mill south of hawk was actually a wood products (OSB) mill, not paper.
