With remnants of its recent Canadian Wheat Board paint scheme still visible on the DB grills, EFCX 1001 now wears the standard G3 scheme. This unit started out as SD45T-2 SSW 9373 and went on to carry SP and CEFX reporting marks as well as being rebuilt to SD40T-2 specs. It is now stationed at the terminal in Colonsay SK.

  1. Geez, who would ever imagine the day that big 20-cylinder SD45T-2′s would be used as grain elevator switchers.

  2. Definitely lots of colorful and unique units out your way Matt!
