While I wasn't overly optimistic about the days weather, meeting up with a good Railfan friend for the day at least was something to look forward to. Luckily we we pleasantly surprised and had sun most of the day along with a few trains. I don't often get train 397 and it was nice at least having a Dash-8 mid consist. The view off Garden Avenue was definitely worth the climb as CN 397 stormed around the curve.
