Toronto - London express passenger 37 throttles up passing CN's Weston station at roughly 1715h. This was the third station at Weston, built in 1905 just south of John Street, it would serve passengers until its demise in 1966. Within the year, this portion of the Brampton Subdivision will become the Weston Subdivision with the opening of the Toronto bypass and CN's Toronto Yard, now MacMillan Yard.Scan and editing by Jacob Patterson.

  1. Other than the wrong paint scheme on the FPA4, this is a great photo.

  2. Excellent image,, John.

  3. Great scene, John. Not many photos out there of Weston station. Nice contrast between the new scheme on 6773 and the maple leaf logo on the freight shed end of the building.

  4. Wild.. correct paint scheme for me :)

  5. Beautiful light and looking very model railroad like

  6. I’ll chime in and say this is my favorite CN livery of all time. The 1960 passenger stripes! This area sure has gone through some immense face-lifts over the years

  7. Great scene that’s much changed today! The siding to the right would have went to Dominion Food & Milling. It looks like there’s an Missouri Pacific boxcar spotted on what’s shown as the customs/bond/team track behind the station (the interchange tracks were closer to the CP tracks).
