Today, for GMD fans Willowbrook is a must visit, more so in the eighties...
GMD 1974 built GP40-2(W) #706 is the future CN #9673 ( in 1991) ;
GO #720 was EMD 1967 built GP40-M-2 for Rock Island ( CRIP ) acquired 1982 and was a 1993 trade in to EMD ( for the F59PH #562 to 568 series ) and resold to LLPX as their future #3207
GO #723, the 'double header' coupled to #720, was EMD 1967 built GP40-M-2 for Rock Island ( CRIP ) acquired 1982 and was a 1993 trade in to EMD ( for the F59PH #562 to 568 series ) and resold to LLPX as their future #3205
Maybe GO not so boring ?
At GO Willowbrook, with permission waiver papers stuffed in pockets, February 12, 1983 Kodachrome by S.Danko
noteworthy: the differing classification ( 'marker' ) lights, all sans ditch lights, love that real brass bell on the #720 and the 'in your face' air horns on #706.

Awesome pic! Back-to-back GP40s was quite rare too- typically they operated elephant style when couple directly together. I miss those days of GO…
