Caption: There seems to be a lot more "socked-in overcast" in the Niagara area during winters. It is due to the proximity to the lakes, I suppose. This bleak day is no different than so many in a January, but I still had to wander down to Welland to see what was in the yard. Not much. CR 5826 & PC van 19079, all by their lonesome. But still, better than nothing. It wasn't long after this that the unit was painted into the "Conrail Blue".
