There is something really refreshing about having all the power up front on this very colourful 650. I know it's not as good for train handling or stress on the rails, or all those things the railroad is concerned about. 3 units, or more, on the front is almost what I grew up with, and what really attracted me to the hobby. Something along the lines of nothing can stop so much power. Spreading it throughout the train felt like it "weakened" the effect...well, for me anyway. this was a treat.
