Caption: The time is about 1450h as CNR daily except Sunday mixed train M330 arrives at Mildmay en route to Palmerston with CNR 1348 leading the way. The venerable H-6-f ten wheeler stabled at Palmerston will handle various switching duties along the way, having met counterpart M329 (Palmerston - Southampton) at or near Paisley, where both are due at 1330h. Per the 1957 Employee Timetable, M330 would depart Southampton at 1230h, arriving Palmerston at 1545h.
CNR H-6-f, 4-6-0 1348 was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1911 for the Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific Railway with the same number, and would be scrapped in July 1959.
