Caption: The sun is high overhead, but then, so am I, as I capture a nice shot of a southbound CP en route to MacTier for crew change, then onward to Toronto. The view from the Fire Tower at the park is always worth checking out, but these days the forest of evergreens has reached the height that affects a clear shot of trains running south of the bridge. Also, directional running here now has most all trains operating as Northbounds on this CP and Southbound on the CN thru town. So, this shot now would be considered a rare catch. A long string of open autorack cars behind something like CP 5944, 5992 and 5547 is certainly a sighting of the past. Note to the left of the lead unit one can see the CN industrial trackage as well; which served the storage tanks. All of those are gone, as is the track. At 1,700 ft in length, the bridge over the Seguin River in town is a "must see" for those who have not yet been there.

To me it’s one of the best overhead action views of all time, and it wasn’t taken from a drown model airplane. And the SD-40-2′s are almost history themselves.

I must say here I am a little worried that the idea of a ‘drone’ for RR photography might being to make inroads; leaving unfair disadvantages to those who cannot invest in one of these things. Personally, I do not like them.
