The likes of these beasts we shall never see again on Canadian mainline service, and we are all so much poorer for it........Lead unit MLW M-636 #2310, looking good in her relatively new paint, ended up on the Arkansas & Missouri Rwy; and trailing MLW C-630M #2002 I believe was scrapped. This view was captured just before the westbound move passed the old Dundas station. The clamouring of these majestic units as they climbed the 9 mile grade along this route was unforgettable. I can still hear them:o)

  1. A clean one, nice! Looks like they painted the rubber cab window gaskets red too, like a certain IC shop does whenever they repaint a CN unit. Some things never change!
