Caption: Tansley, a forgotten hamlet north of Burlington, was a nice place to watch the CN back in the days when it actually featured more than a couple of trains in the morning. The spring sunrise resulted in perfect lighting both ways for a few hours. Here is a nice westbound, with CN 5618, BNSF 8066, 894, CN 7245 & 249. The barn, situated off Tremaine Rd., I used for a prop in many photos. Housing and all the rest of it is expanding in this area at an unbelievable rate as Milton works its way south to join up with Burlington. Days of quiet country settings around here are numbered.
