Some days things just don’t go as planned, with cars awaiting pickup in St.Thomas, today should have been the first revenue run for GIO Rail. Unfortunately mechanical issues with recently overhauled GP9U 1597 would put that on hold as the unit would not start. It would take most of the day to get the unit running and by the time we left in the mid afternoon the unit was yet to turn a wheel. Nevertheless it was still busy at the empty yard with personal installing a new derail in front of the unit and other activities going on inside the shop.
