Caption: Power combinations on CN in the middle 2000s were entertaining, to say the least. Here is CN #396 eastbound past the site of the old Dundas station with WC 6926, BNSF 7885, 8018 and CN 5526 up front. The CTG lists the leader as "SD40 upgraded to SD40-3 in 1997/98. Lettered GEC Alsthom (owned by Connell Finance) relettered Wisconsin Central beginning in July 2003." The SD40-2 BNSFs are former BN, same numbers. A CN SD60F trails. For those interested, this image was shot with Medium format film, Fuji 800 ISO. There are actually still a few film junkies out there in this digital age. :o) A good hike to the edge of Dundas Peak provides this tremendous view out over the valley.
