One mile north of CN Boyne, mile 147.1 was once a division point on the Bala Subdivision
A yard, roundhouse, loco servicing, a wye and this crew change dwelling / station ....note the bird feeder at left...
and on a UCRS 6218 fan trip had the privilege of visiting here for several hours while 6218 was serviced and turned
second big event of that day was witnessing the CN No. 2 Super Continental roll through....with three spiffy zebra striped F's....
Most of the above now gone and today it is a basic M of W location, although the wye remains in service
