Caption: Now is old coal country, this westbound manifest is approaching Bellevue, in eastern Crowsnest Pass. In about a minute or so, the train will pass through the devastation of Frank Slide. Although there is plenty of coal in this area, mining had ended by the time this photo was taken (and likely many years before then.)
