In order to show my railfan acquaintance how one can chase a train from the summit of Kicking Horse Pass all the way to Golden - the area covered by his planned guide, we decided to chase this train. The next several photos were all taken from roadside locations.
This mixed train had just about anything that was in the yard - chemicals, grain, box cars, TOFC and COFC. It is straddling the continental divide at this point.
