In late July 2019 CN abolished the station name Neola from the timetable and replaced it with the name "Newton". This is likely part of the double track project underway in the area in which the east switch at the current Neola/Newton siding will be the east end of a stretch of double track that will continue to the west end of Biggar. Neola was a name used since the original GTP timetable from over 100 years ago.

  1. Container buffer car?

  2. That double track project is quite something eh? I gotta say, I had a blast around Keppel. What a fun place to shoot trains. I was talking with some locals who mentioned a railfan from Kerrobert and wondered if it was in fact me haha. So I have to ask, is it you? :)

  3. LOL Yep thats me! They are a really nice bunch people around there, Keppel is a very under-rated spot in my opinion.
