Caption: I have always liked the oddball paint jobs. When CP put most of its GP-38-2's through a major overhaul and repaint a number of years ago, the majority of SOO, D&H and former Milwaukee Road units lost their identity. Luckily a few oddballs still survive today although most are gradually being repainted. Former SOO Line 4407 got a repaint during the period when CP was transitioning between CP Rail System and back to Canadian Pacific. During that time CP dropped the dual flag logo and word "System". A few former SOO units received the "Dual Flag" paint, but the majority today wear full Canadian Pacific paint. After digging through photos of the former SOO units it appears that 4407 was the only one to receive the paint variation. After a challenging morning thanks to trailing unit GP38-2 3023 constantly shutting down, T14 is finally homeward bound. By this point 3023 was completely turned off, as the train rolls past the signal bridge protecting the switches into Streetsville yard.
