Caption: Fall is a favourite time to be trackside. A colour riot like this almost makes one not realize it is actually a dull overcast day. CN 5298, 2339 and 2035 power a train westbound toward Bayview Jct and the Dundas Sub. The scene is from the old Hwy 2 bridge, now known as Plains Road. Years ago I used to identify this location as Bayview East, as it is east of the Jct although this was never a railroad name. Aldershot West, around the bend somewhat, is now known as "Snake", a moniker I am afraid I will never get to appreciate. :o)So it remains, in my mind, Bayview East. As far as I know, lead unit 5298 is still on the CN roster.
