Even if the lighting wasn't the best, I certainly did not want to let this lash up get away without at least making an attempt on capturing it. CN 421/422 can certainly surprise one lately and today was no exception. Here GEVO 2326 leads a former BNSF/ATSF Dash-8, 2 demonstrator Tier4's GECX 2037 and 2038 ( not many of these left unrebuilt by CN) and JLCX 101, a former NS Genset, (interesting that when searching this unit online, JLCX 101 comes up as a GP9). The train is slowing to work Aldershot.

  1. Nice catch! Any idea where the Genset is headed? Hopefully not for future work on CN. ;)

  2. Get your humpbacks while they last, 2 for the price of 1, good deal Marcus. :-)
