End of an Era This morning dad and I went out to Jarvis to run a few errands and swung by the SOR yard in Garnet to see what there was to shoot. The power for the Nanticoke Road Switcher was parked back in the yard with CEFX 2015, RLK 3873 and QGRY 2301. The GP20D's time on the SOR is a few weeks from being finished, with RLHH 3403 and RLHH 3404 on site in Hamilton being prepared to move up to Garnet and take over the road freight duties on 597. I will be sad to see the GP20D's go, but I am looking forward to some new variety on the SOR!

  1. I really like this image, Mr. Bishop. It has vibrant colours, interesting shapes, dramatic lighting, an unusual perspective and excellent composition… a very visually intriguing photograph. More like artwork than a simple train picture. Nicely done, Sir!
