Don't bother trying to find 'Mai' on the map. It's the name of the crew change point mid-way between Sept Isle, Quebec and Labrador City. It's simply a small group of buildings, including a mess hall and sleeping quarters for crews. Here QNS&L #317 sits in 6:00a.m. sun on a southbound ore train waiting for a new crew. I wouldn't suggest you try to get here by car as there are no roads and there is nothing but wilderness and wildlife for a 100 miles in any direction!!
