Doesn't it just figure? I drive down to Merritton from north end St. Catharines where I was living at the time and this lashup goes by just as I am approaching. So off to Burlington I go. For this is the closest location in which I can shoot a Toronto-bound train without the morning sun in my face. Fortunately for me it is working Aldershot Yard, so the sluggish traffic on the QEW doesn't cause me to lose this train. Leader CN 9673 was former GO 706. Second is x-UP, now CN 6103, followed by former Seaboard 2601 now sublettered HLLX and CN 5313 trailing. I assume all units have now vanished from the CN roster.

  3. Mooney Returns! A very interesting period shot Arnold when so much mismatched equipment was running around. Thanks for chasing it down and showing it here.
