Definitely not the shot I had planned out as I raced towards Vaughan. It has been years since I have been here and apparently the Major Mackenzie crossing is now a bridge. Racing up the bridge I quickly realized I am no longer as young as I once was, LOL. I had hoped for a broadside shot from the west side but the train beat me, nevertheless as the muted sun burned through the trees this ended up being the best option. A consist most could never imagine happening certainly made the trip worth while. To the right is the wye leading into the Vaughan intermodal yard and the new highway 427 extension is in the background, which definitely makes the trip up here a lot faster. A beautiful lash up of old a new along with classic passenger cars really shows that CP is a class act. I'll never get tired of seeing these amazing "F" units.
