Caption: CN 4526 rests in track XW19 at CN Guelph Junction, just west of Alma Street. Note the extra “sticks” sans flags on the unit. The “SPEEDWAY Express” trailer sits across Alma Street in the CN Express yard. These sidings have since been removed, along with the pole line, the top arm of which here still strings wires to the north along the Fergus sub. CN 4526 was rebuilt in 1984 as CN 4028, assigned to Kitchener a few times in recent years. Alex Sanders shot it just off to the left of this image in 2019. 4028 has been out of service at Transcona Shops since fall 2021.
