first generation power: FP7 and FP9 cabs and all those F9B's: witness here an A-B-B-B lash up!
and the blue and yellow double stripe painted CCF / Pullman Standard built steel passenger cars:
the 5700 series Dayniter cars ( most seemed to land with the RMR ) various 1970's re-built from coaches / sleepers ( I series (CC&F built 24 roomettes) , Val series (ex NYC ), River Series (ex NYC, FEC, MILW, EL) , Falls series ( ex SLSF) , most built circa 1948 to 1954 )
the E series sleeping cars ( 4 section, 8 roomettes, 4 double bedrooms) Pullman Standard built 52 for CN 1954: numbered named examples 1136 Endeavour, 1140 Enterprise, 1155 Evangeline survived into 1991
the 1300 series dining room cars, Pullman Standard built 24 for CN 1954: numbered examples 1340, 1347, 1349 in service through 1991
and not to mention the VIA abandonment of the CP Rail (as CP was known by at that time) routing....
