Caption: Another one of those unique station buildings I so enjoy. This one at the junction of CN Souris Sub (off to the left) and Montague Sub (on the right). The old station by 1981 had lost its' freight shed (far side) and was being converted to a restaurant which might have had a very short life, if one at all, as the building was moved not too long after. Point Deroche, about 8 KM to the north, is now where the station resides as a B&B, leaving a void in the once important railroad village of Mount Stewart. In the photo, the line to Souris looks reasonably well used, for it is potato harvest season on the Isle.
