Caption: Another from the FPON files (awww yeeeeah):
With the construction of the south platform as part of expanding GO Georgetown (later Kitchener) line service, all the years of debris, foliage, trees and junque on the south side of Brampton Station had to be cleared out, resulting in a nice wide-open shot (that ironically later vanished when the new platforms and shelters were put in). On a sunny Sunday afternoon, CN #399 rolls past the 101-year old station (built new by the Grand Trunk in 1907) and parked construction equipment, along the closed Railroad Street. Power today is CN SD75I 5773 leading NS "Catfish" C40-8W 9570 rear-to-rear, reppin' the FPON content for today.
