An unusual move by VIA I had not seen before. CN 5260 and 5149 holding with a westbound train, waited for #73 with VIA 6416 to come up the south track (on right) then reverse over two tracks and back into the Aldershot lead as seen here. I shot this as it was in the process of reversing in order to wait for signal. It then got its' light after the crossover at bottom was closed and it headed westbound ahead of the freight.

Must have been maintenance work ahead on the South track.

  1. Very interesting move indeed

  2. Nice view of how the area looked back in the 90′s. I seem to remember that red car from the era too. Likely another fan.
