Caption: A visit on a "good" day to the CP yard in Agincourt 30 years ago would present us with enough power to drool (or should that be "foam") over. In this photo there must be upwards of 40 locomotives basking in the sunshine. In the days of film we could go broke just shooting slides/prints of them all. That is, if we were allowed to wander at will. But no, all photos had to be taken from along the roadway. Even that was great while it lasted. This view shows various switchers, GPs, MLWs, a smattering of Chessie as well as a few former Missouri Pacifics now lettered for GATX, which were on lease to CP around that time. Nowadays, don't even bother trying to go there...........

Wow!
This a Sunday Morning visit Arnold?
Lots of power sitting around.
Right on both counts, Mr. CTP. It is a Sunday, and about 11 AM.
