A hot intermodal eastbound is racing to the end of what was once a four track section of the line. Today the south service track here is history and the north service sees occasional use as needed. The old crossing activation switch is still intact for a track that no longer exists. Out of view behind me is the old searchlight signal bridges still spanning a four track space. The BC Rail Dash-9 trailing proved to be the catch this day as far as motive power went, with VIA trains outnumbering CN freights.
