The true Canadian led by FP 9 #1414 pauses under late summer skies... Even though 33 years have passed since I hit the shutter button, it seem like yesterday. Here\'s to CP for running a class operation

  1. Beautiful. Action Red and stainless steel look the best, IMHO.

  2. It could only be improved if it was in the original 1950′s paint.

  3. Improved? It’s fine as it is..!

  4. Great shot!

  5. Maroon and Grey is the only way.

  6. It depends on the era you grew up with – I grew up with one of these on my model train layout – as a result this is my classic “CP RAIL” scheme :) In contrast, ask a steam guy what he thinks and he’ll scoff at all of us :)

Great shot again Deane. Thanks for sharing with us.

  7. It could only be the true Canadian if there was a B unit and another A unit, with a grey generator car behind the last A unit. And yes I to like the older color scheme.

  8. A grey generator car?
