CN 385 crawls down to the Tunnel with the first of 5 BCOL units I caught this day. CN 5529 & BCOL 4605 head towards Port Huron at a Crawl, but it will not be long until it picks up lots of speed, from gravity pushing the train into the tunnel.

[editors note: Yes this picture has an edit on the license plate, we will allow this] CN 8921 & IC 1008 fly pass the town of Kerwood, with my vehicle, a 2013 VW Golf TDI. It was great to have this Diesel driving around as I did over 550km of driving on just over 1/2 a tank of Diesel, and enjoying the smells of Diesel being pumped out of the Engines as they rolled pass.

The Power from CN X348, backs to a Stub track, next to the Departure & Arrival yards in Sarnia. The train on the left is CN 330 getting ready to Depart, CN X348 power backing in with CN 8855 - CN 8805 - BCOL 4650 - BCOL 4604, the next track is the power getting ready for train X396 later in the day with CN 2551 - CN 5445 - CN 5484 with the carmen putting up the blue flag to get the train ready for departure. You can see on the right tracks full of cars, from trains that have just came in. In the distance you can see the CSX power sitting waiting to do work, CN locals on different tracks as well working. it was a busy time of day.

The crew is onboard and getting VIA 901 ready for it's trip east to Toronto on VIA train #72, with in the next 20 minutes. The Passenger are getting ready to board, and the Engine is reving away, as the HEP system is being switched over from Hotel power only to run mode.

VIA 914 shoves back down the VIA Chatham Sub to the Jefferson Wye with CN Chrysler Spur, to turn its train. It had just arrived into Windsor about 15 minutes before and was now completeing it's trip for the day.

CN 439, with CN 4791 & 4774, and about 30 cars, heads down the VIA Rail Chatham Sub, at Wallace Line. You can see the Ties lined up along the side of the mainline for a Tie project that started late in 2012 and was put on hold for the Winter, and will start up in the Spring time. At this location, Freights can go 60 MPH, and Passenger trains can go 90 and LRC Speeds is 100 mph...

Lights are on at both the soon to be Closed Old Station and soon to be Open New Station for VIA Rail in Windsor. The old Windsor (Walkerville) Station was built over 50 years ago as a temporary Station, when CNR Closed it's Riverfront Station, in need of some major repairs & Upgrades.

The Departure & Arrival board, inside the VIA Station in Windsor. If you look closely, you can see some of the old train numbers (ex #74 & #77) and also the old Departure & Arrival times of soem trains. This board has been in this location for at least 25 to 30 years and is almost done its life, as VIA Rail is moving into a new Station next door, and will not need this sign anymore.
