About jennlovestrains

Ever since I was young watching trains from my grandparents house on the Vegreville Sub, I have become fascinated with them. I really miss the colourful grain elevators and hopper cars that dotted the landscape. I would always be waiting with eager anticipation as we would cruise into a small town to see the elevator and train cars parked in front. I guess having unfettered access to viewing the trains, has definitely created a lifetime foamer lol. Even to this day, I still cannot drive past a set of tracks without having the same anticipation as I did when I was young. Hopefully I just have more time to stop and take pictures! By no means am I a professional picture taker, more of a train fanatic. My iPhone takes decent pictures as I am just looking to capture the equipment as I see it. I am not trying for calendar quality lol. Much respect and love to those who are into the photography as a hobby! My favourite road is definitely CN, and second favourite by default has to be the golden rodent. I still think CP guffawed with that scheme. Bring back the Pac-Man! Other than that, my passion for trains has flowed to my daughter who will shout out when we are driving: “Train!” Gotta love the excited attentiveness of a toddler. <3
