Caption: A train of Bombardier T1 subway cars depart the Toronto Transit Commission's Davisville Yard, pulling into the third platform track at Davisville station in order to enter service southbound on the Yonge subway line for the evening rush. Towering in the background (although small by today's hi-rise standards) is the W.C. McBrien building, the organization's current headquarters that was built over Davisville station circa 1958. On the left is the shop building where trains are locally serviced, and on the lower left is a pair of old Hawker Siddley H1 cars, now relegated to work service and coupled to a work flat. All this is viewed from the old CN/Grand Trunk "Belt Line Branch" bridge the original "Red Rocket" subway cars were delivered on in the 1950's, which is now part of a walking trail.
