CP 6048 South highballs through Medonte in a scene that could easily be mistaken for something from 2001! Today's 420 is basically a glorified roadswitcher, running at only 16 cars/1200 ft after setting off most of the train at Sudbury/MacTier, and the 2 tail end cars are coming off at Spence! I don't think 6048/5905/8631 and 6017 will have any trouble handling 14 cars into Toronto!

  1. A nicely composed picture.

  2. What is the number/reporting mark of the van? Is it still in service?
